Meet our Knight-Riders - Austin "All the Way" Olsen News Meet Austin "All the Way" Olsen, one of our awesome Knight-Riders who will be taking on the Ride to Conquer Cancer this October; Why do you want to be a part of the Ride to Conquer Cancer? I am taking this opportunity to support friends, family & loved ones who are currently or previously have had to battle the virus-like epidemic of Cancer. How often do you ride? Up to this point I have not ridden a bike since I came to Australia nearly 11 years ago What are you most worried about doing this 200km ride? Not finishing. Pain in getting there is not a big deal, not finishing the goal would be the only fear. How are you training / preparing for this ride? Just secured a bike last weekend and will now being practice rides. Have been riding a stationary bike a couple times a week for the past 2 weeks in preparation. How do you think the Knight-Riders will go as a group? The Knight-Riders will dominate all… ok maybe not but everyone seems very committed and I think we will all support each to achieve a very positive team finish. Leave no man (or woman) behind! Good Luck Austin! Contribute to this history-making event with a donation to Austin. Funds raised in The MACA Ride to Conquer Cancer® will support ground-breaking, critical cancer research being undertaken at the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research, Western Australia’s premier adult medical research institute, investigating the genetic and environmental causes of a range of diseases.
