Knightcorp 2024 - A Year of Transformation News Thursday, 12 December 2024 As 2024 wraps up, the team at Knightcorp Insurance Brokers wanted to share some reflections on a year of major milestones, remarkable achievements, and continued innovation. From expanding our global reach to launching new divisions and earning industry accolades, the past year has been a testament to the dedication and expertise of our team—and the level of satisfaction we’re delivering for clients. Reflecting on the year, CEO Trent Brown remarked: "This year has been transformative for Knightcorp. We launched a new brand, digitalised reporting, and invested in talent, expanding our enterprise team and specialties in financial lines and workplace risk. A highlight was celebrating Nikita Willis as a finalist for Australia’s Young Broker of the Year. These achievements reflect our team's dedication to delivering value and innovation for our clients. Thank you for being part of this journey." Expanding Horizons: Our Global Footprint This year, Knightcorp expanded its reach to 25 countries, broadening our footprint to encompass global capitals like New York, London, and Singapore. By partnering with businesses across diverse regions, we’ve ensured our clients receive the localised expertise and tailored solutions they need to succeed. Breaking New Ground: Launching Key Divisions In 2024, we introduced three new specialised divisions: Enterprise: Providing tailored risk management and comprehensive solutions for complex programs in industries we specialise in, both in Australia and globally. Speciality: Expert brokers specialising in niche insurance products, leveraging deep knowledge to deliver market-leading outcomes for our customers. People Risk: Utilising market-leading technology and industry expertise to deliver local and global solutions that protect and support our clients' most valuable asset—their people. These additions demonstrate our commitment to evolving our practices and services alongside our clients’ needs and the dynamic industries we serve. Rebranding and Digital Transformation One of the year's highlights was the launch of Knightcorp’s rebrand, boldly reflecting our vision for continuous innovation and exceptional client service. Alongside the rebrand, we’ve modernised our operations by digitising three key reporting processes. Since September, all enterprise and corporate customer reports have been delivered digitally, streamlining interactions and enhancing efficiency. Looking ahead, we’re gearing up to launch our new website, claims, and broker platform in 2025—initiatives designed to optimise the client experience. Together, these advancements are propelling us toward our goal of becoming Australia’s leading digitally enabled insurance group, seamlessly combining cutting-edge technology with personalised, human engagement. Recognising Excellence: Industry Awards Individual excellence was in the spotlight as Knightcorp’s Commercial Manager, Nikita Willis, was honoured as a finalist for Australia’s Young Broker of the Year award. As the WA winner, Nikita chose a remote community association, Bloomfield River District Residents, to receive the $20,000 donation sponsored by Vero. Nikita’s dedication to client success exemplifies the calibre of talent we nurture at Knightcorp. A Thriving Workplace Culture The results of our employee survey, conducted by Culture Amp, speak volumes about the culture we’ve cultivated: 86% of employees who responded feel engaged and optimistic about their work 97% would recommend Knightcorp as a great place to work 92% feel proud to work here 78% say they’re more motivated than they believe they would be elsewhere According to Culture Amp, organisations with staff satisfaction ratings of 84% or above rank among the top 10% of employers across industries globally. Knightcorp’s impressive results secure us a spot in this distinguished group, standing shoulder-to-shoulder with leaders in tech and other sectors celebrated for exceptional employee benefits. Perhaps most importantly, 100% of our team understands and aligns with Knightcorp’s values, a cornerstone of our collective success. Looking Ahead Looking to the new year, Founder and Managing Director Wayde Knight said, “Our focus remains on innovation and connection. We'll continue to refine our approach, deepen relationships with our clients, and embrace new opportunities to do things our way. The future holds immense potential, and I'm excited for what's to come for Knightcorp and the industries we serve."
